ADVANCED EXCHANGE WARRANTY PROCESS:
As part of this RMA process to remedy your warranty issue,
PVI agrees to ship to you first THE ABOVE PRODUCT/PRODUCTS for use as an advanced
replacement part (“replacement”) for your defective PRODUCT (“defective part”). By requesting the replacement and arranging
the shipment of the replacement from PVI to you, you agree to the Terms and Conditions
outlined herein, as well as our standard Warranty Terms and Conditions.
This replacement is shipped under the condition that the
original defective part be returned to PVI within 10 business days of the
receipt of the replacement (“return window”), and that the returned defective part
is within PVI’s warranty coverage.
Within that same return window, you have the option to cancel this RMA
by returning this replacement instead.
If PVI does not receive the defective part or replacement part within
this 10-day window, you will be subject to be charged for non-return (see
“NON-RETURNED OR DAMAGED EQUIPMENT”).
For this exchange only, PVI will cover the cost to ship the
replacement to you and will provide a prepaid return label to ship the
defective part back to PVI. You are
required to use the provided prepaid label for the return, or if an alternate
shipping method is required, provide to PVI the tracking number and any other
information needed to track its shipment.
PVI is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred to the original
defective part or the replacement while being shipped to or shipped from our
facility.
Once the defective part is received by PVI, it becomes the
property of PVI. PVI will evaluate the defective
part to determine the cause of failure and verify its condition. This RMA will be closed upon completion of
this evaluation resulting in the defective part found to be in warranty.
NON-RETURNED OR DAMAGED EQUIPMENT:
For this RMA process, you agree to be responsible for the
return of the defective part to PVI, fully functional as it was originally
shipped from PVI except for any issues that are covered by our warranty, and
free from any damage to the part, including the outer chassis, front panel and
interface, power and input connections, and all internal components.
If the defective part or replacement are not returned to PVI
within the return window, you will be charged a non-return fee equal to the
retail list price of the replacement, and the replacement will be considered
sold to you.
Warranty coverage excludes damage from external causes,
including Acts of God, power surges, incorrect usage or installation, user
negligence, water or other environmental damage, as well as damage to
connectors (HDMI, SDI, BNC, Ethernet, USB, Coax F type, CVBS, Component, and
Power connectors) and receiver chips.
If the defective part is returned to PVI but has a
functional issue excluded by our warranty, or has incurred damage to the outer
chassis, front panel and interface, power and input connections, and/or
internal components, or any of those components and parts are missing, the part
will be considered out of warranty. You
will be charged a damaged equipment fee equal to the retail list price of the replacement
and the replacement will be considered sold to you. We will then provide the option to have the damaged
part returned to you, and you will be responsible for the cost and method of
the shipment. If you choose to have the damaged
part returned to you, that part becomes your property upon shipment. If you decline to have the defective part
returned to you, the part will be considered surrendered to PVI and will remain
the property of PVI.
